A TRIBUTE TO JAZZ ON THE GREEN
and All those WHO MADE IT HAPPEN!
The Jazz on the Green story is an amazing
one of courage, dedication, expansion, loyalty, teamwork, creativity and
community. Those who produced the event through a great deal of hard
work, vision and follow-through made sure that the people of Southwest
Florida had a reason to converge and celebrate through music, art and
good times.
Jazz on the Green brought
the best in smooth jazz music, fabulous food and refreshments, fine art,
fun activities and a feeling of community to a sophisticated and festive
audience that came from all over the world to
Southwest Florida since 1997. The final event was produced in 2009.
In Memory of Bill Taylor, Chairman of Jazz on the Green
2001-2009
HIGH NOTES
"I just wanted to let you know that my husband and
I truly enjoyed Jazz on the Green! I was lucky to win a Dream 107.1
prize package Friday morning which included tickets to this great
event. Not only was the entertainment FANTASTIC, we couldn't get over
how organized everything was from beginning to end! We purchased
some great merchandise to help support such a wonderful cause!
Already looking forward to next year! Thank you for such a great
evening." ~Ross & Roxanne Fechter :)

your Day GREAT!!!!" ~Connie Hennink

drops of rain didn't run anyone off. Well organized and I must say the
"deluxe" bathrooms were wonderful. Thanks for the upgrade." ~Judy

"My husband and I wanted to let you folks know that
Saturday was absolutely the BEST concert we've ever been to! With only
a few minor problems, the venue was terrific and the music was
fabulous. There are not enough superlatives to describe it. Thanks for
preparing such a great day." ~Kendell Zarrella
"Just wanted to say thank you for another wonderful
show. This is only our third year but as long as you are doing a Jazz
on the Green, we will be there. We really appreciate all the hard work
all of you do putting on a show of this magnitude and providing such
wonderful musicians. Thanks again." ~Kathi & Steve Bringman
Jazz On The Green was not just a good time; it’s
was a good cause and a non-profit organization
that raised both money and awareness for children and the environment,
through the Southwest Florida Children’s Charities. The Children's Charities of Southwest
Florida had a mission to further the welfare of children and families in our community!

We'd like to thank the Southwest Florida community, our
sponsors, vendors, volunteers and
committee members for coming together
to create this amazing event year after year!
