 Jazz aficionados should mark your calendars now for the
11th annual Jazz on the Green, Southwest Florida's foremost jazz event.
The charity concerts to benefit The Children's Hospital of
Southwest Florida will take place Friday and Saturday, October 20
and 21. Event festivities kick-off Friday evening
with the Jazz on the Green Premier Concert and VIP Reception complete
with live jazz, artist meet and greet, and a silent auction with
an unbelievable assortment of prizes. The main event, a full
afternoon and evening of smooth jazz from world-renown artists,
takes place Saturday, October 21, starting at 4 p.m. Organizers
are at work now confirming your favorite smooth jazz musicians, so watch
for the 2006 line-up announcement soon.
The Friday, October 20 Premier Concert will be hosted by The Colony Golf
& Bay Club at 24610 Goldcrest Drive in Bonita Springs, Florida, a
WCI community. Saturday's main concert takes place at Florida
Gulf Coast University, 10501 FGCU Blvd. S. in Fort Myers,
Florida. Tickets go on sale mid-summer, with package pricing for
attending both Friday's and Saturday's functions.
