It is with great excitement that we’d like to announce
that the 13th Annual Jazz On The Green is continuing our
new outreach program entitled, Wild About Green. Wild
About Green is a project of Jazz On The Green designed
to raise awareness about environmental, natural and
planetary conservation, restoration and enjoyment in
Southwest Florida. The project consists of this website, www.wildaboutgreen.org and an entire section of the Jazz On The
Green event which will be dedicated to showcasing
environmental organizations and projects which serve our
region to educate and inspire the public at large, as
well as businesses and corporations to become
environmentally conscious.
Jazz On The Green is always raising the bar on bringing
good things to our community which has prompted us to
continue to explore more ways that our marketing power can benefit not only our community but
the whole of humanity and our planet. Not only is this a
topic of concern near and dear to the hearts of our
organizers, it is a wonderfully synchronistic fit for an
event named Jazz On The Green, which is conducted in the
grass, out under the stars and surrounded by trees to go
green!
We would like to invite your participation in our event
this year which takes place on January 16th & 17th, 2009
at Florida Gulf Coast University, Estero, Florida. There
are no fees for your participation as it will be
underwritten by corporate sponsorship. We encourage you
to become creative and interactive with your displays in
the Jazz On The Green – Wild About Green area. You can
participate in both days or just one. There is an
allotted amount of space, so please respond as soon as
possible to assure that your organization has a space at
the event.
We are very pleased to be launching this program and
hope that you will be as excited as we are to give your
organization a tremendous amount of exposure. Last year
over 6,000 people attended the main event. This year we
are projecting approximately 10,000+ will attend over
the 2 day festival. Jazz On The Green also receives over
a billion consumer impressions amounting to about
$300,000 worth of marketing, PR and advertising,
including radio, TV, website and print both regionally
and nationally. We invite you to come and take advantage
of this unique opportunity. After all Jazz On The Green,
with it’s all volunteer staff, is created by the
community and for the community.
